Join our speaker for lunch after our November meeting. This Restaurant is in the location  of the former D'arcy McGee's. In our early days, Red Lobster gave many people their first taste of lobster, snow crab and jumbo shrimp. Wednesday 15 November

Vintage Wings Museum tour and lunch out
Gatineau Airport (1699 rue Arthur Fecteau) 

   Join us for a guided tour of the hangar and the rare and historic aircraft they repair, rebuild, care for and fly. The hangar is superb and designed to have a period feel with wooden roof (inside a modern steel shell) and vintage dimensions. It houses a unique and meticulously restored and maintained collection of fighters and trainers that are often used to support the museum’s educational and outreach programs.The cost is only $10. www.vintagewings.ca 
Following the visit we will return to Ottawa for lunch at the Mill St. Pub at 555 Wellington. We plan to start lunch at 1 p.m. to allow for a quick look at the newly opened Chaudière Falls. We were at the Mill St. Pub last January and it was well received.
   
Friday 19 January

Museum of Science and Technology
2421 Lancaster Road (off St. Laurent) 

   Join us for a visit to the newly completely renovated museum. The Krazy Kitchen is still there and the massive train engines but everything else is new.
   We plan to start our visit at 10:30 and then adjourn for lunch at a restaurant in the St. Laurent Blvd. area.
   Sign up and pay in November, December or January. Cash or cheque $12.50 pp. Cheques made out to Probus Western Ottawa. This price is for the group rate only. Individuals will pay $15.50 so sign up to get the reduced rate.
